AS Control
The company Drillisch (Maxxim, 1und1, DiscoSurf, SmartMobil, etc.) is currently sending out new SIM cards with the justification of the 5G changeover. As these SIM cards are not normal SIM cards, but so-called uSIM, they are not compatible with the old GPRS modem.
Affected devices:
- PV station, serial number PVS...
- PV-Central, serial number PVC...
Devices connected via LAN or WLAN are excluded.
Compatible SIM cards:
So far we have successfully tested the following SIM cards.
Replacing the SIM card:
The PIN of the new SIM card must be adapted to the stored PIN. You can find the stored PIN in the portal under Configuration => System data => Hardware.
Insert the new PIN into a cell phone and change the PIN. Alternatively, you can also deactivate the PIN query.
Activate the new SIM card. This is usually done online. (The Telekom DataSIM does not need to be activated)
Switch off the device, replace the SIM card and then switch the device back on.
After approx. 10 minutes, you should see a current login in the portal under Configuration => System data => Hardware.
