Safety note

In the case of Internet sharing (port sharing), we strongly recommend that you change the user's password for security reasons (command: passwd). The default password is known and allows hackers very easy access to your SmartPi and therefore to your home network.

Access with self-installed software

The image supplied by us contains many customizations that simplify access to the web interface. We have also optimized the image to make it more suitable for permanent operation. Therefore, some things are different to those described here for your own installation. For example, the website can only be accessed via http://Ip-Adresse:1080.

The SmartPi is supplied with DHCP as standard. This means that it is assigned an IP address by your router. To find out the IP address of your SmartPi, you can either look in the list of registered users on your router or search for the IP address with a network scanner Angry IP(http://www.angryip.org) or Netscan.

smartpi" or "raspberry" must appear as the host name for the correct IP. You can now call up the website with http://IP-Adresse:1080 (if you are using the finished image, the port information can be omitted).
An ssh login is also possible:

Username: smartpi (pi before bullseye)
Password: smart4pi or raspberry
