RS485 Connection

Connect the inverters to each other with a patch cable.

Disconnect the cable from the last inverter to the e.manager and connect the individual lines to the e.manager as follows.

e.manager terminal A <=> PIN 7 (brown-white)

e.manager terminal B <=> PIN 8 (brown)

Please proceed as follows for each inverter.

1. Device address

Here please enter a unique address between 1 and 99.

2. Ethernet

Since the RS485 bus and the Ethernet use the same socket, it must be ensured that the Ethernet connection is switched off.

Please set the Ethernet off here.

Connect the inverters to each other with a patch cable.

Connect the data logger to the RS485/LAN socket of the first or last inverter using a patch cable.

Please proceed as follows for each inverter.

1. Device address

Please enter here a unique address between 1 and 99.

2. Ethernet

Since the RS485 bus and the Ethernet use the same socket it must be ensured that the Ethernet connection is switched off.

Switch on the Ethernet at the first or last inverter.
