e.manager terminal A <=> Kostal WR terminal A
e.manager terminal B <=> Kostal WR terminal B

Terminals A and B are part of the 10-pole screw terminal. Terminal 9 is connection B and terminal 10 is connection A.

On the last inverter, DIP switch 1,2 and 3 must be set to ON. For detailed instructions of the DIP switch settings, please refer to the inverter manual.

Inverter configuration

Please proceed as follows for each inverter.

1. web page

Each inverter has an internal web page for configuring the RS485 address.

  • Connect the inverter to the laptop using a cross-over cable.
  • Set your laptop to obtain the network settings automatically.
  • Enter the following into the address line of your browser: http://Sxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
  • please replace the "x" with the serial number of the inverter.
  • When prompted for a password, please enter the following.
  • Username: pvserver
  • Password: pvwr

2. settings

On the overview page you will find the link "Settings" in the bottom right corner.

On the Settings page, enter a unique address between 1 and 99 in the "WR bus (RS485) address" field.

Click on "Apply

Inverter configuration

     Variant 1: Cross-over cable

  • Connect the inverter to the laptop using a cross-over cable.
  • Set your laptop to obtain the network settings automatically.
  • Enter the following into the address line of your browser: http://Sxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. please replace the "x" with the serial number of the inverter.


      Variante 2: IP-Scanner              

  • The inverter is set to DHCP when shipped. By using an IP scanner (e.g. SoftPerfect Network Scanner) you can find the new inverters in the network.


Please enter the following for the password query.
Username: pvserver
Password: pvwr

Settings
